Cinnamon Caramel Nut Crunch
A sweet, cinnamon snack that will add flavor to any party or occasion. We coat popcorn and pecans with a cinnamon-enhanced caramel syrup.
Ingredients
- 2 bags (3.3 ounces) Gourmet® Butter Microwave Popcorn
- 2 cups Salted mixed nuts
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) Fleischmann's® Original Margarine-stick
- 2 cups Firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 cup Light corn syrup
- 2 teaspoon Salt
- 1-1/2 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
Directions
- Preheat oven to 300°F. Spray two 13x9-inch pans with cooking spray.
- Prepare popcorn according to package directions. Remove all unpopped kernels. Divide popped corn and nuts evenly between prepared pans.
- Melt Fleischmann's in medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Add brown sugar, syrup, salt and cinnamon; bring to boil and boil for 2 minutes stirring constantly with wooden spoon. Immediately pour over popcorn mixture, tossing gently to evenly coat.
- Bake for 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes. Remove from oven; stir again. Spread onto wax paper to cool thoroughly. Store in tightly sealed container.
